Hello, new friend! And welcome to my site. My name is Austin Rote and I am an artist, filmmaker and aficionado of special effects.

Purpose of this Site:

This site exists in order to share my body of work, to blog subjects of interest and share the stepping stones of my career.

My Experience:

I hold an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University.

I have since then been on numerous film sets, including 'Confess, Fletch' (starring John Hamm), 'The Right Stuff' (on Disney Plus) and commercials for 'Golden Corral Buffet and Grill.'

I've done numerous promotional work and interviews, including big names like ex-wrestler and politican: Matt Morgan and interviews for the Gary Sinese Foundation.

My Specialites:

Though I've grown my skills in several fields, I specialize in visual storytelling, which includes editing, special effects, chroma key, motion graphics and even animation.
